The principle of Women in Development Cell is enshrined in its Preamble, Fundamental Rights, Fundamental Duties and Directive Principles. The Women in Development Cell empowers to adopt measures of positive discrimination.
Objectives
- Creating an environment through positive economic and social policies for full development of women to enable them to realize their full potential.
- The Objective of the Women in Development Cell is to create awareness among the women students and the women staff, apart from maintaining congenial working environment for all the women employees and students.
The Cell has grown to become an important part of the extracurricular activities of the students. The Cell seeks to create awareness about important issues related to women and provides a forum for discussion and deliberation and invited talks for health care, gender equality, work ethics, etc.
