The department facilitates the students to acquire the knowledge over various modes of communication such as analog, digital, fibre optic, microwave communication and the application of advanced electronic concepts.

Objectives

To facilitate the students acquiring theoretical knowledge and realistic proficiency to meet the challenges in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and to undertake research works to develop products through Industry and Institution co-operation.

Mahendra Institute of Engineering and Technology offers a four year bachelor degree program in Electronics and Communication Engineering to prepare graduates with necessary technical knowledge and professional skills needed to address the challenges in the rapidly growing filed of Electronics and Communication Engineering and to prop up to follow a line of investigation in this area. The department has a team of dedicated faculty members who are not only well qualified but are also backed by rich industrial and teaching experience.

The Electronics & Communication Engineering department has Commendable Laboratories with requisite facilities to try out the practical applications  with advanced and latest facilities in the field of Electronic circuits, Digital electronics,  LIC , Digital Signal Processing, VLSI, Modeling, simulation, Microprocessor, Micro controllers, Analog communication, Digital communication, Optical, Microwave, Circuits , Devices and Electrical Machines.

Seminars & Paper Presentations by eminent personalities on current trends and latest technologies are arranged to expand the awareness of our students. Conducting guest lectures, value added courses, staff seminars and student-seminars play a vital role in building up the knowledge.
